Phoenix Contact – Sales Van Refurbishment

Phoenix Contact approached us with a request to update the interior of the van and Refurbish much of the exposed surfaces. The new exterior vehicle wrap completely transformed the look and feel of the vehicle. The sales team for Phoenix Contact was especially excited about it. They were even looking out the windows at it as we drove it into their parking lot. The new green colors and more modern materials really helped the refurbished van stand out.

The interior although not completed these photos received a significant face lift. The Refurbishment added and removed many items. Most of the horizontal panels were removed. These were replaced during the refurbishment by new panels that were made of clear acrylic. The rear TV was also updated with a new touch screen. Now customers can explore for themselves the futures and products in the companies lines.

The Emblem in the front the the vehicle was also updated. Connectivity is the new motto and it was well received. The lighting was significantly amped up to give a good first impression when entering the van.

Exhibit Studios helped fabricate and install the interior exhibits for the Norfolk Southern Exhibit Car.

This traveling exhibit educates and entertains audiences of all ages with a nod to heritage while showcasing the benefits of rail freight transportation. More than 1.5 million people in 300 communities have been aboard the restored 1926 Pullman passenger car since 1971.

While aboard, visitors can view Explore the Line to learn how NS benefits local communities and creates jobs. Protect the Line explains how to keep the rails safe. A photo booth takes quick pictures of guests against a train backdrop and emails them.

Other interactive exhibits include “Load the Line,” a game that challenges players to match freight products with the correct type of rail car, and a locomotive simulator whose throttle, brake, and horn put guests in control of a virtual freight train.
